With willing sellers, the Township cannot pass up the opportunity to secure this highly used and valued public access site as a public park. The site possesses so many wonderful qualities, has a historic and cultural significance, provides several types of recreational opportunities and has the potential to become an asset for increasing the public’s awareness of the Great Lakes ecosystem.
