Letters of
Support for Purchasing Deerlick Creek Beach
Several local businesses (Mitchell & Morse Land Surveying, DeGrandchamps
Blueberry Farm Market, Mitchell Bros. Mobile Home Park, Lake Bluff
Inn & Suites), realtors (Conklin Real Estate, Home Finders of
South Haven) and the South Haven Chamber of Commerce submitted letters
of support for acquiring Deerlick Creek Park. These letters state
that additional Lake Michigan property available to the public will
increase property values in the area, bring in additional tourists
to frequent their businesses and assist in attracting additional
businesses and employees to the area. For example, Mitchell Bros.
has expanded a long-term RV section and believes Deerlick will be
useful in attracting new tenants to the RV park.
